Escape the city and reconnect with nature for a beautiful summer day at The Yoga Garden, in the heart of the Sussex countryside, only an hour from South West London.

Yoga will take place in a handcrafted yurt. Removable sides let the breeze waft through and allow us to connect with the wildflower meadow surrounding us. A delicious home cooked lunch will be provided by Mini Annabel, with an option to take a guided walk around the stunning local countryside, or wild swim in the natural pond.


This intimate day retreat (12 people max) is open to all levels. A wonderful opportunity to deepen your practice in a friendly environment and get to know some like minded people.

10:45 | Welcome tea


11:00 | Morning hatha vinyasa yoga

The 21st of July is a full moon, so the Moon Salutations will form the foundation of our morning practice. We will start strong and slow, breaking down each pose in detail. As we repeat the cycle we will build up the pace, becoming more fluid and shifting our focus to flowing with the breath.


12:30 | Meditation and breathwork


13:00 | Lunch

Local, home grown, organic, vegan feast cooked by Mini Annabel.


14:00 | Walk, swim or rest

Join our guided walk in the heart of the Knepp Rewilding Project keeping an eye out for the abundant wildlife, wild swim in the natural pond, or simply chill out with a cup of tea, reading, journalling, or snoozing!


15:30 | Afternoon yin yoga

In the afternoon we will slow things right down as we move through a series of long hold, floor based poses. Yin invites the body to surrender to gravity as we work deep into our connective tissue and fascia, unravelling hidden areas of tension. This mediative practice is profoundly relaxing and nourishing for the body and mind. Hands on assists and massage, will be offered throughout to help you relax.

Calming breathwork, guided yoga nidra meditation and head massage with Neil's Yard Bee Lovely Lotion.


17:15 | Guided journaling


17:30 | End of retreat


*All yoga equipment provided if needed (eco friendly mats, bolsters, blankets, belts and cork blocks)

Drive | Free parking is available on site (lift shares often available with other students)

Train | Nearest station Horsham (20 min taxi can be pre booked and shared)

Accommodation | If you fancy making a weekend of it, the campsite at Kneep is gorgeous (book in advance) or there are some cute Air BnB’s, or the Crown Inn has a couple of rooms and great food!
