Sunday 19th January 2020 | SOLD OUT - Please contact me to be added to the waitlist.
After a hectic Christmas, January is the perfect time to slow down, take a breath and reconnect with yourself and nature. Escape the city and join me for a beautiful day at The Yoga Garden, in the heart of the Sussex countryside, only an hour from South West London.
Yoga will take place in handcrafted yurts, kept super snug with a wood burning stove. A delicious hot lunch will be provided by Mini Annabel, with an option to take a guided walk around the stunning local countryside - Kneeps Rewilding Project.
This intimate day retreat (13 people max) is open to all levels, and is a wonderful opportunity to deepen your practice in a small group environment.

Winter Yoga Day Retreat | £95pp
10:30 | Welcome tea
11:00 | Morning hatha vinyasa yoga: Awakening the spine
Our morning practice will be an invigorating flow through a series of twisting postures, designed to increase mobility in the spine and stretch out stiff muscles in the back. We will focus on creating mindful transitions and using the breath to safely deepen each pose. We will also dedicate a good amount of time to headstand practice. Breaking down the pose completely, so you can build up step by step with confidence. If you already have a strong headstand practice, we will play with some more advanced variations!
12:30 | Meditation and breathwork
13:00 | Lunch
Local, home grown, organic, vegan feast cooked by Mini Annabel.
14:00 | Walk or rest
Join our guided walk in the heart of the Knepp Rewilding Project, or stay warm by the cozy fire with a cup of tea, reading, journalling, or snoozing!
15:30 | Afternoon yoga: Candlelit yin yoga
Continuing our exploration of the spine, we will slow right down and sink into the magical world of Yin. As you relax into a series of long hold, floor based poses, gravity will gently guide you deep into your connective tissue and fascia, unravelling hidden areas of tension. Hands on assists and massage will be offered throughout to help you relax deeper into your practice.
16:45 | The ultimate shavasana
17:30 | End of retreat
*All yoga equipment provided (eco friendly mats, bolsters, blankets, belts and cork blocks)
“Absolutely incredible and a very special experience. There was no detail that wasn't thought of. The yoga itself was brilliant, and the added meditation, readings and gratitude sections at the end were perfectly done. The ambience was magical and I can't wait for the opportunity to take family and friends along to one of Hannah's retreats in the future. I booked the Autumn retreat the following day!” Melody
“A complete breath of fresh air. It was the most relaxing and rewarding way to get away from London and practice yoga in a beautiful setting with like-minded people and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough!” Juliet
"A wonderful opportunity to improve my practice in a beautiful location. It was the perfect mix between invigorating flow and relaxation. Hannah had planned the day thoroughly and spent lots of one to one time with everyone, I got so much out of it. With the delicious food, the setting, the cosy yurts and of course all the yoga, it was great value for money." Laura.
