Hatha Flow & Winter Solstice Social
Tuesday 17th December 19:15 - 21:15
What To Expect
Join us for our Winter Solstice Social. A full hour of Hatha Vinyasa Flow, followed by journaling, intention setting and a festive community picnic. Midwinter marks an important turning point in the years. From the solstice onwards the days will start to get longer, as we slowly emerge from the darkness of winter. Join us to honour this shifting in the seasons by holding space to reflect on 2024 with guided gratitude journaling and setting our intentions for 2025. This will be followed by a festive community picnic - an opportunity to share food and drink and get to know one another. Please bring cushions and blankets to stay cozy, a notebook and pen, your favourite festive nibbles to share with the group (no nuts). If you are bringing drinks please remember openers and glasses as we do not have any at the venue. 7:15-9:15pm at the beautiful Kalos Centre, 48 Endlesham Road, Balham, SW12 8JL. Book your spot with normal class pack credits. Head to the 17th of December on the booking calendar. --- My playful interpretation of Hatha Vinyasa Flow merges two popular forms of modern yoga and doesn’t take itself too seriously! Hatha yoga is slow but strong, holding static poses for several breaths. Allowing time for you to build strength, mobility and refine your alignment. Vinyasa is a more fluid yoga practice with an emphasis on harmonising the movements of the body and breath. Find stillness in movement as you build up a sweat, flowing from one posture to the next. I believe variety is the secret to both physical and mental health, so I teach a different, intelligently designed, sequence each class. Delivered with precise anatomical alignment cues, so you can develop a strong, safe, yoga practice. Open to all levels. I give lots of different options throughout each yoga class, to suit all levels of strength and flexibility.
