Escape the city and spend a beautiful autumn day at The Yoga Garden, in the heart of the Sussex countryside, only an hour from South West London.

The perfect opportunity to break with routine, take a breath of fresh air, and dedicate some time to reconnecting with yourself and nature.

Yoga will take place in a light filled yurt, with a wood burning stove to keep us cozy. We will start the day with a playful Hatha Vinyasa Flow followed by breathwork and meditation. At lunchtime a delicious plant-based feast will be provided by Mini Annabel. You can then choose to snuggle up by the fire for some down time or take a guided walk around the stunning local countryside. Knepp Rewilding Project has given the land back to nature and the area is full of rare species. As darkness closes in we will light the candles for yin yoga, guided relaxation and head massage.

This intimate day retreat (12 people max) is open to all levels. A wonderful opportunity to deepen your practice in a small group environment.

10:45 | Welcome tea

11:00 | Morning hatha vinyasa yoga

In our morning practice we will flow through a series of postures designed to increase mobility in the spine and build strength in the back. As we move playfully through our sequence we will create mindful transitions using the breath, to encourage the mind to become completely absorbed in the moving meditation.

12:30 | Meditation and breathwork

13:00 | Lunch

Local, home grown, organic, vegan feast cooked by Mini Annabel. Eaten outside, picnic style - weather permitting.

14:00 | Walk or rest

Join our guided walk in the heart of the Knepp Rewilding Project, or relax (in the sunshine or by the fire, weather dependent) with a cup of tea, reading, journalling, or snoozing!

15:30 | Afternoon yoga: Candlelit yin yoga

This mediative practice is profoundly relaxing and nourishing for the body and mind. We will continue our exploration of the spine, as we will slow right down and sink into a series of long hold, floor based poses. Gravity will gently guide you deep into your connective tissue and fascia, unravelling hidden areas of tension. Hands on adjustments and massage, will be offered throughout to help you relax.

16:45 | The ultimate shavasana

Calming breathwork, guided meditation, yoga nidra, head massage.

17:30 | End of retreat

*All yoga equipment provided if needed (eco friendly mats, bolsters, blankets, belts and cork blocks)
