Sunday 12th of November 2023 | Sold Out.
The remedy to the modern life, Hannah Pocket's day retreats at The Yoga Garden give you the opportunity to step out of your routine and reset.
Spending a beautiful autumn day in the heart of the Sussex countryside, only an hour from South West London, gives you space to reconnect with yourself and nature.
“Such a perfect way to spend a Sunday. Hannah is such a knowledgeable yoga teacher and makes everyone feel so welcome. The venue was literally stunning and I'm still on such a high from such a lovely day spent with a wonderful group of people. I can't recommend this yoga retreat enough.” - Rosie
Yoga will take place in a light filled yurt, with a wood burning stove to keep us cozy. We will start the day with a playful Hatha Vinyasa Flow followed by breathwork and meditation. At lunchtime a delicious plant-based feast will be provided by Mini Annabel. You can then choose to snuggle up by the fire for some down time or take a guided walk around the stunning local countryside. Knepp Rewilding Project has given the land back to nature and the area is full of wildlife. As darkness closes in we will light the candles for yin yoga, guided relaxation and head massage.
This intimate day retreat (12 people max) is open to all levels. A wonderful opportunity to deepen your practice in a small group environment.

Autumn 'New Moon' Yoga Day Retreat | £130pp
10:45 | Welcome tea
11:00 | Morning hatha vinyasa yoga
Our morning practice will celebrate the new moon. We will explore a playful interpretation of the moon salutations, a juicy hip opening, leg strengthening, chaturanga-free flow. Starting slow, you will have plenty of time to become familiar with the sequence before we build up speed. By the end we will be flowing continuously with breath, a moving meditation.
12:30 | Meditation and breathwork
13:00 | Lunch
Local, home grown, organic, vegan feast cooked by Mini Annabel. Eaten outside, picnic style - weather permitting.
14:00 | Walk or rest
Join our guided walk in the heart of the Knepp Rewilding Project, or relax (in the sunshine or by the fire, weather dependent) with a cup of tea, reading, journalling, or snoozing!
15:30 | Afternoon yoga: Candlelit yin yoga
This mediative practice is profoundly relaxing and nourishing for the body and mind. We will release the legs and hips, as we slow right down and sink into a series of long hold, floor based poses. Gravity will gently guide you deep into your connective tissue and fascia, unravelling hidden areas of tension. Hands on adjustments and massage, will be offered throughout to help you relax.
16:45 | The ultimate shavasana
Calming breathwork, guided 'new moon' meditation and intention setting, yoga nidra, head massage with Neil's Yard Bee Lovely Lotion.
17:30 | End of retreat
Emerge from our cozy yurt into the darkness of a new moon night and pause to take in the stunning night sky.
*All yoga equipment provided if needed (eco friendly mats, bolsters, blankets, belts and cork blocks)
