Hannah Pocket Yoga Day Retreat at The Yoga Garden in Sussex near London

Sunday 26th April 2026 | Open for booking.

By late April, spring is in full bloom. The landscape has shifted from stillness to life, offering a natural moment to pause, reset and look forward. It’s a gentle reminder that change is constant, that endings carry beginnings, and that we always have the chance to begin again with clarity and intention.

This day retreat is an invitation to step out of the everyday and into something slower and more spacious. You’ll be guided to reconnect with what matters most to you through movement, reflection and time in nature. Expect to feel grounded, nourished and re-energised.

Spend a spring day with us at Cowdray Hall, nestled in the South Downs National Park. Just over an hour from South West London, it feels wonderfully removed from the pace of city life, offering a true sense of escape without travelling far.

"Hannah’s retreat was so lovely. The venue at Cowdray Hall is gorgeous, light and very calming. I’ve always enjoyed Hannah’s classes in London, and it was such a treat to have a whole day of her teaching! The walk was stunning too, and was a nice change of energy throughout the day. She made everyone feel welcome, created a peaceful atmosphere and this allowed people to take it at their own pace. Also- a big shout out to the lunch, which was delicious. I’m still thinking about the chocolate brownies! Thank you Hannah for a gorgeous day." — Rosie

Yoga will take place in a spacious hall with an impressive vaulted ceiling, elegant parquet flooring and large windows that fill the room with natural light. We’ll begin the day with guided journalling and intention setting, before bringing those intentions into the body through playful Hatha Vinyasa Flow, alongside breathwork and meditation. At lunchtime, a generous family-style sharing feast will be prepared by The Yellow Kitchen. Afterwards, you’re invited to spend an hour or so in whatever way feels most nourishing: resting in the hall, exploring the farm shop and local village, or joining our guided walk around the beautiful Estate. We’ll wander through bluebell-carpeted woodland, visit the Queen Elizabeth Oak and the historic  Cowdray ruins. In the afternoon, we’ll soften into stillness with candlelit yin yoga, yoga nidra and a soothing head massage, offering space to fully unwind.

This day retreat is open to all levels and everyone is welcome.
